How to determine variable type in Go: methods and examples
Hello everyone! I just started learning Go and ran into a problem. In other languages, like Python or JavaScript, I can easily find out the type of a variable using type() or typeof. But in Go, I can't find a simple way to do this.
Here's an example that confuses me:
```go
package main
import "fmt"
func main() {
var x interface{}
x = 42
// How can I find out that x is an int?
fmt.Println(x) // Just prints 42
}
```
I understand that Go is a statically typed language, and types are usually known at compile time. But what should I do if I'm working with an empty interface (interface{}) or with data from JSON? For example, I receive a response from an API that may contain different data types: strings, numbers, boolean values. How can I programmatically determine which type is stored?
