Cargo build hangs with "Blocking waiting for file lock on the registry index" after building parity from source

Hi everyone! I'm new to Rust and trying to build the parity project (a blockchain node) from source code. After cloning the repository and running `cargo build`, everything was going fine, but halfway through the build froze. The terminal shows the message: ``` Blocking waiting for file lock on the registry index ``` And nothing has been happening for over an hour. I tried restarting the terminal, but the problem persists. Here's my `Cargo.toml` (simplified): ```toml [package] name = "my-parity-build" version = "0.1.0" edition = "2021" [dependencies] parity = { git = "https://github.com/paritytech/parity.git" } ``` System: Ubuntu 22.04, Rust installed via rustup, latest stable version. I've already tried: - `cargo clean` - deleting `~/.cargo/registry/cache` - restarting my computer
