How to correctly compare two slices in Go for equality?
Hello everyone! I just started learning Go, and I have a problem with comparing slices. I'm trying to check if two slices are equal by content, but nothing works for me.
Here's my code:
```go
package main
import "fmt"
func main() {
a := []int{1, 2, 3}
b := []int{1, 2, 3}
if a == b {
fmt.Println("Slices are equal!")
} else {
fmt.Println("Slices are not equal!")
}
}
```
But the compiler gives an error: `invalid operation: a == b (slice can only be compared to nil)`. Why is that? In Python or JavaScript I could easily compare lists/arrays using `==`.
I understand that a slice is a reference type, but how do I correctly compare two slices by elements? Do I need to write my own function for each slice type (int, string, float, etc.)?
