How to check if an object is empty in JavaScript? (simple and reliable ways)
Hello everyone! I just started learning JavaScript and came across this task: I need to figure out whether an object is empty or not. For example, I have a `user` object that can be empty `{}` or contain some data. I tried comparing it to an empty object:
```javascript
const obj = {};
if (obj === {}) {
console.log('Object is empty');
} else {
console.log('Object is not empty');
}
```
But this code always outputs "Object is not empty", even when the object is actually empty. I understand that in JavaScript objects are compared by reference, not by content, but how do I check correctly then? I also tried using `obj.length` — but that only works for arrays, for objects it returns `undefined`.
I need to check objects that come from the server or are created dynamically.
