Is the idea of a new game engine in Python viable?

"Hello everyone! I'd like to get your opinion on the viability of my idea. Below is a brief description of the overall picture.
I've been programming in Python for 3 years, I'm 16 (almost 17), and due to my age, I can try something new. Over 3 years of Python development, I've tried many things, and at one point I started thinking about game development in Python. I quickly looked up information about existing engines somehow related to Python. Hacking together mods for Unity and Unreal doesn't seem very smart, and I haven't found any engines specifically in Python with a graphical editor. So the thought of creating such an engine briefly crossed my mind.
I'm not a genius, so I can't reinvent the wheel, but I have the following ideas. In the Python ecosystem, there's Pygame. Some might say that Pyglet or Arcade is better.
For educational and entertainment purposes - yes, you can certainly go ahead and create one. No one is stopping you. It will even be beneficial for you. However, there is no point in considering it as a commercial project - you won't have enough experience, knowledge, or other resources like finances and time, and besides, no one would need such an engine anyway.
