How to properly parse JSON in Java: a detailed guide for beginners
Hello everyone! I've just started learning Java and encountered a problem with JSON parsing. I have an application that receives data from an API in JSON format, and I need to extract information from it. I tried writing my own parser manually, but it turned out to be very complex and unreliable.\n\nHere's an example of the JSON I receive:\n```json\n{\n "name": "John",\n "age": 30,\n "address": {\n "city": "New York",\n "zip": "10001"\n },\n "hobbies": ["reading", "gaming", "hiking"]\n}\n```\n\nI tried doing something like:\n```java\nString json = "...";\nString name = json.substring(json.indexOf("name") + 7, json.indexOf("\\"", json.indexOf("name") + 7));\n```\nBut this is very fragile code, and it breaks with any change in the format. I've heard about libraries for working with JSON, but I don't know which one to choose and how
