How to read an InputStream into a String in Java?
Hello everyone! I just started learning Java and encountered a problem that seems very difficult to me. I need to read data from an InputStream (for example, from a file or from an HTTP response) and convert it into a regular String. The problem is that InputStream works with bytes, but I need text.\n\nHere is an example of my code that does not work:\n\n```java\nInputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream("file.txt");\nString content = inputStream.read(); // Obviously, this is wrong\n```\n\nI understand that the `read()` method returns only one byte (int), not the entire string. I tried using `BufferedReader` and `InputStreamReader`, but I'm still confused. How to correctly and efficiently read the entire InputStream into a String? What are the best practices in Java 8+? Thanks in advance for your help.
