How to find out which Python interpreter I am using?
📁 Advanced Python Topics
Which interpreter do I have installed? They write:
"If you type 'python' in the terminal to run the interpreter, it's probably CPython. The executable name for IronPython is 'ipy'."
and
If you downloaded python by default from python.org, it's CPython.
But how to find out for sure?
There are several options:
- You can address the bot using a slash
/-/YourMessage, and if there are multiple bots in the group, mention its username -/YourMessage@YourBotName. - You can set a list of commands for the bot using @BotFather, so when the user types a slash, they will see a list of all available commands and can select the desired one.
- You can disable
privacy mode, then the bot will receive all messages from the group except messages from other bots. By default, privacy modeis enabled. - You can make the bot a group administrator, which will also allow it to receive all messages from the group except messages from other bots.
What messages will my bot get?
