How to check if a key exists in std::map in C++?

Hello everyone! I'm new to C++ and encountered a problem when working with std::map. I have a dictionary that stores key-value pairs, for example, user ID and their name. I need to check if a specific key exists in this dictionary before accessing it to avoid errors. I tried using the [] operator for access, but if the key doesn't exist, it creates a new entry with that key and a default value, which doesn't work for me. Here's my example code: ```cpp #include #include #include int main() { std::map users; users[1] = "Alice"; users[2] = "Bob"; // Trying to check if key 3 exists if (users[3] == "") { // This creates an entry with key 3! std::cout << "Key 3 not found" << std::
