printf vs cout in C++: which to choose for data output?
Hello everyone! I started learning C++ and noticed that examples often use two different output methods: printf from C and cout from C++. I have a simple code where I output an integer and a string. With printf it looks like this:\n\n```cpp\n#include \nint main() {\n int age = 25;\n printf("I am %d years old.", age);\n return 0;\n}\n```\n\nAnd with cout like this:\n\n```cpp\n#include \nint main() {\n int age = 25;\n std::cout << "I am " << age << " years old." << std::endl;\n return 0;\n}\n```\n\nBoth work, but I don't understand which one is better to use in C++. There is a lot of debate online: some say printf is faster and more familiar for C programmers, others say cout is safer and follows OOP. I'm confused that printf uses format specifiers (%d, %s), and it's easy to make a mistake.
