TypeScript Error: No index signature with a parameter of type 'string' — how to fix?

Hi! I'm new to TypeScript and encountered a problem I can't solve. I have a simple object with string keys, but when I try to access it via a variable, TypeScript throws an error: ``` No index signature with a parameter of type 'string' was found on type '{ "A": string; }' ``` Here's my code: ```typescript const myObj = { "A": "Hello" }; const key = "A"; console.log(myObj[key]); // Error! ``` I understand that `key` has type `string`, and TypeScript expects a specific literal `"A"`. But what if the key comes from an external source (e.g., API or user input)? I can't know all possible keys in advance. I tried using `key as keyof typeof myObj`, but it looks like a workaround. Is there a more correct way to solve this problem? How to properly type objects so that they can be accessed by string keys while maintaining type safety? Thanks in advance for your help! <<>>
