How to start learning TypeScript from scratch?
Hi everyone! I'm a beginner developer who wants to switch from JavaScript to TypeScript, but I don't know where to start learning. I tried reading the official documentation, but it seemed too dry and overloaded with terms. I tried watching videos on YouTube, but most tutorials assume the viewer is already familiar with TypeScript at a basic level.
My current stack: I know the basics of JS (ES6+, promises, async/await), have some experience with React. I have a small project in pure JS (a task list with localStorage) that I want to rewrite in TypeScript to understand the difference in practice.
Here's an example of my code that I'm trying to type:
function addTask(text) {\n const task = { id: Date.now(), text, completed: false };\n tasks.push(task);\n render();\n No answers yet.
