How to start learning JavaScript from scratch?

Hello everyone! I decided to start learning JavaScript from scratch, but I faced a problem choosing the right learning path. I have no programming experience except basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. I want to become a Node.js developer in the future, but I don't understand where exactly to start.

I tried watching several video tutorials on YouTube, but they are either too superficial or immediately jump to complex topics like closures and prototypes. I also started reading the documentation on MDN, but it seems too voluminous for a beginner.

My current code (a simple example I was trying to understand):

function greet(name) {\n  console.log('Hello, ' + name);\n}\ngreet('World');\n

I understand that this function outputs a message, but I can't figure out how it works at a deeper level.
