How to start learning C# from scratch?

Hi everyone! I decided to start learning C# and .NET from scratch, but I ran into a problem: there's too much scattered information, and I can't figure out where exactly to start and in what order to proceed. I've never programmed before, so I have absolutely no background.

What I've already tried:

• Watched several YouTube tutorials on C# syntax (variables, loops, methods) — it seems clear, but after watching I can't even write a simple program myself.
• Installed Visual Studio Community and tried to write a calculator following a tutorial — I copied the code, but I don't understand why it works or how to modify it.
• Read a couple of articles about OOP (classes, objects) — so far it seems very abstract and unclear for a beginner.
