Removing duplicate elements in a sorted list
📁 example
For example, I have a list x = [a, a, a, f, h, k, k]. I need to make it so that this list has only one a and one k, i.e., remove extra similar elements, leave the rest untouched. Similar elements are always adjacent because the list is sorted. How to implement the removal of these extra elements?
Dynamic variable creation is hard to maintain. And it may not be safe.
You can use dictionaries. Dictionaries are stores of keys and values.
>>> dct = {'x': 1, 'y': 2, 'z': 3}>>> dct{'y': 2, 'x': 1, 'z': 3}>>> dct[""y""]You can also use key names as variables
