How to make Python and C++ work together | Python to bin/exe

Hello again.

There is a task to rewrite existing Python classes/data structures in C. I still have a poor understanding of how this should work, but the task is set, and I need to study it. Please advise how this should look? Preferably real experience, because links don't always help. And most importantly, how much will this speed up the execution of program code?

As an alternative to this kind of madness from my managers, I see compiling Python into an executable application (linux-binary, windows-exe). What do you think about this issue?
