Why are Kotlin coroutines better than RxKotlin for asynchronous tasks?
Hello everyone! I recently started learning Kotlin for Android development and faced a choice: use coroutines or RxKotlin. There's a lot of debate online, and I'm confused.
I wrote a small example in RxKotlin that loads data from the network and updates the UI:
```kotlin
fun loadUserData() {
Observable.fromCallable { api.getUser() }
.subscribeOn(Schedulers.io())
.observeOn(AndroidSchedulers.mainThread())
.subscribe(
{ user -> textView.text = user.name },
{ error -> Log.e("TAG", "Error: ${error.message}") }
)
}
```
This works, but the code seems too verbose. I was told that coroutines are simpler and easier. I tried to write the same thing with coroutines:
```kotlin
fun loadUserData() {
CoroutineScope(Dispatchers.M
