How to convert int to String in Java? Detailed guide for beginners
Hello everyone! I just started learning Java and encountered a problem. I need to display a message on the screen that contains both text and a numeric value. For example, I want to show the user: "Your balance: 1500 rubles". I have a variable of type int:
```java
int balance = 1500;
```
But when I try to do this:
```java
System.out.println("Your balance: " + balance + " rubles");
```
It works, and I see the correct output. However, in some other places (for example, when working with JTextField or when saving to a file), I need exactly the string representation of the number. I tried using String.valueOf() and Integer.toString(), but I don't fully understand the difference between them.
I also noticed that in some old code examples, new Integer(balance).toString() is used
