How to start learning C++ from scratch?
Hello, dear forum members!
I decided to start learning C++ from scratch, but I ran into a problem: there is too much contradictory information on the internet about where to start. Some people recommend starting with the classic — Stroustrup's book, others suggest immediately diving into practice through projects, and a third group insists on learning C before C++.
I already tried reading a couple of chapters from the book "C++ Primer" (Lippman), but it seemed to me that the material was too voluminous and complex for a complete beginner. I also went through several YouTube lessons, but they mostly explained syntax without a deep understanding of how memory, pointers, and RAII work. As a result, I wrote a simple program for adding numbers, but when I tried to figure out vectors and strings, the code stopped working.
